MISSION STATEMENT
The goal of this project
is to create a traditionally animated film to the best quality that
we can produce. The creators are all volunteer and of every skill
level. We strive to give anyone who wants the chance to work on
an animation project the opportunity, for in doing so, they will
gain valuable practice in the field and work they can add to future
portfolios, demo reels, or resumes. Provided they can do the work
asked of them at the required talent level, and can legally sign
our contract, anyone can join the staff and work on the film.
Secondly, it is also part of
our mission to promote wolves in a more natural and positive light.
Wolves have only rarely been given a positive role in movies and
particularly in animated films. Therefore, we have felt a need for
an animated film of this nature.
And lastly, we want to keep
traditional animation alive. Our goal for the animation style of
this film is to go back to the 'roots' of American animation, such
as the old Disney and Don Bluth films. We believe the heart of animation
is in the story and the acting of the characters, and not fancy
computer visuals or 3-d effects.
Please be aware that anyone
contributing to Wolf, be it as an artist, voice talent, or any other
contracted position are all volunteer. This means they do not get
paid and are donating their time and talents to this project despite
other obligations to work, school and family. There are times we
may go a while without updates, and that is because there are times
that the work is slow. We never stop working on the project completely,
but people get busy times in their lives, like school finals for
example, when they can't put forth as much time into Wolf. I am
sensitive to my staff's time, realizing what an effort it is to
add this project to their life schedule. Please take this into account
if you ever feel frustrated with the lack of updates. You may also
feel free to email me at webmaster@wolfmovie.com if you have any
concerns about the progress of the film.
Thank you,
Audrey Walker
